Welcome to Generator Agent – your built-in assistant for creating personalized, on-brand, and multilingual content with minimal effort.

This guide walks you through what you can do with Generator Agent at both the Board Level and the Section Level.

Generator Agent lets you move faster and smarter when creating content for your boards and allows you to: 

  • Personalize existing content for different audiences, accounts, or segments
  • Generate brand-new content based on campaign goals and target users
  • Translate boards and sections into multiple languages for global reach

Each action is available at both the board and section level—giving you flexibility without compromising control.

1. Personalize Existing Content

Use your existing content as a starting point, and let Generator Agent rewrite it to better suit a specific audience, company, or segment.

This feature is ideal when you're reusing a board or section but want the messaging to feel highly relevant for:

  • A specific account (e.g., “ModoMind as account name) that addresses board maintenance challenges”)
  • A segment (e.g., “Cloud Contact Center or Customer Experience”)

Board Level

When generating at the board level:

  1. Click the AI wand icon on the top toolbar and choose Personalize from the dropdown menu. 
  2. To add a new audience, click + Add target audience, then choose Account or Segment.
  3. Enter the details, and click Generate.  

Section level

  1. From the section menu, select Personalize. 
  2. To add a new audience, click + Add target audience, then choose Account or Segment.
  3. Enter the details, and click Generate text for this section.
  4. Select the defined target audiences that you defined from the menu.   

Use case – ABX (Account-Based Experience)

Running a campaign for a top account like “Acme Corp”? Input their name, tailor your messaging to their challenges and goals, and deliver something that feels one-on-one. This drives engagement and conversion because it feels custom. 

2. Generate New Content from Scratch

Instead of starting with existing copy, you can generate new content using the Generate by Goal option. This works at both board level and section level.

Board Level

  1. When generating at the board level, click the AI wand icon on the top toolbar. 
  2. Select Generate > By Goal. 
  3. In this view, you’ll need to:
  • Select the goal of the board (e.g., Product Overview, Landing Page)
  • Provide the Product/Solution/Offer name  (this field is required).
  • Optionally add a description of your board
  • Select or define Target Audiences.
  • Click Generate Board Text to populate the board with AI-generated content.

Section Level

  1. From the section menu, select Generate > By Goal to open a guided input form. 
  2. Choose the Goal of the content (e.g., Promotion, Feature, Special Offer). 
  3. Enter the Product/Solution/Offer name. 
  4. Select or create one or more Target Audiences. 
  5. Click Generate text for this section to create tailored content.  

Use Case – Feature Launch Campaign

Launching a new product feature and need fresh content fast?

Use the Generate by Goal option to define your goal (e.g., “Feature”), enter the product name, and specify your target audience—like “Cloud Contact Center Managers” or “IT Decision Makers in Retail.”

The AI will generate tailored text aligned to that context—no need to start from scratch.

This helps you launch faster, stay focused on your messaging, and align with specific campaign goals effortlessly.

3. Translate Content to Other Languages

Translate full boards or individual sections into more than 20 supported languages—ideal for global campaigns or multilingual teams.

Board-Level Translation

  1. From the main toolbar, click the AI wand icon.
  2. Select Translate > Choose a language, and pick the desired target language from the dropdown.   
  3. The language picker opens with regional language options, such as: 
  • English (US)
  • English (Great Britain)
  • French, German, etc.

Once selected, the board content will be translated automatically.

This is ideal when launching multi-language campaigns or customizing regional boards.

Section-Level Translation

  1. To translate a specific section, click the section’s menu and select Translate > Choose a language.   

The language picker opens at the board level, allowing you to localize only one piece of content at a time.

This is especially helpful when:

  • You only need to localize a portion of the board
  • Different sections require different languages or tone adjustments

 Use case – Regional Boards

Launching a campaign across North America and Japan? Create separate boards in English (US) and Japanese. Include region-specific examples, currencies, or even tone variations to boost relevance in each market.

Tips and Usage Notes

  • Start with a template that’s close to what you need—it saves time and improves quality.
  • Be as specific as possible when defining your audience or goal (e.g., “Marketing Leads in Financial Services” works better than “Marketing”).
  • When generating or personalizing content, Generator Agent provides two AI-generated text versions alongside the original.
  • As shown in the image below, you can:
  • Click Original to go back to the source text.
  • Switch between Version 1 and Version 2.
  • Use the refresh icon to generate new alternatives.
  • Use the gear icon to manually refine or edit the generated content 

Pro tip: We distinguish between rule-based personalization and AI-driven personalization. Rule-based personalization is designed for scalability, applying predefined logic to many accounts or segments. (one to many) In contrast, AI personalization works at an individual level, offering a more tailored experience.

One of the key advantages of AI-driven personalization is that it acts as a personal assistant in the writing process, helping craft content uniquely suited to each user.

Additionally, AI-based segmentation is softer and more flexible compared to the rigid nature of rule-based segmentation.

Important: Generator Agent only affects the textual content of boards and sections.

It does not alter or translate the items, such as: PDFs, Docs, Images or videos.

These remain unchanged when using personalization, generation, or translation features.

Brand Voice Consistency

All AI-generated content automatically follows your company’s defined Brand Voice, set in the Admin settings.

This ensures:

  • A consistent tone across teams and boards
  • Aligned language regardless of who’s generating the content

Note: Brand Voice settings apply to content generated by the AI. When the system rewrites content to tailor it for a specific audience, it focuses on contextual personalization rather than enforcing brand language strictly.
